The Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife finished the edition of the third issue of the collection The Alhambra Monographs: Nr.03. Nasrid Ceramics. International Symposium. The edition contains the papers of the speakers and participants in round tables organized in the International Symposium on Nasrid ceramics hold in March 2007 at the Palace of Charles V in the Alhambra. The Symposium was the conclusion to the temporal exhibition “The Alhambra Vases. Symbology and Power”
In this context, opening a scientific debate on controversial and interesting issues of this extraordinary ceramic ware to certain experts was considered appropriate by the Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife.
The Alhambra Monographs Nr.03. Nasrid Ceramics. International Symposium was the result of an exhaustive in-house research labor, complemented by most interesting articles of important experts of the fields of art, history, archaeology and restoration.
The intention of this edition is to become an important document addressed to researchers to promote the scientific debate, which is enriching and always necessary in this knowledge area.
Nasrid Ceramics, published by the Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife and the publishing house TF Editores, is a bilingual edition (Spanish-English).
