in the Alhambra

The significance of Town planning in Hispano-Muslim culture will be in the limelight in guided themed tours in July through the Museum of the Alhambra. This is a free activity to be held the second and the third Sunday of every month, starting at 12:00 noon, and its aim is to deepen the knowledge of Hispano-Muslim culture by means of the collections on display in the Museum.
The implementation of this project has been possible thanks to the collaboration of the Volunteer Guides at the Museum of the Alhambra. The tour will be guided by Clemente Franco.
During August and September, the themed tours will focus on Nasrid fashion, clothes and textiles as well as Science, religion and economy.
The food in October, the perfume in November and the Hispano Muslim coin in December will be the last subjects within the themed tours through the Museum of the Alhambra in 2011.
 
When: second and the third Sunday in July, from 12.00 noon onwards.
