Hay Festival

The Hay Festival of Literature & Arts is a literary and artistic festival that started in the small town of Hay-on-Wye, Wales. It is held annually as an international meeting point of writers, musicians, actors and other renowned figures of the arts.
The Festival has been held in Italy, Brazil, Colombia and Spain. For the first time the Festival is held in the Alhambra offering a varied programme of cultural activities that will take place from 3 to 6 April 2008. This edition of the Festival will count with the presence of Almudena Grandes, Tariq Ramadan, Boris Spassky, Ahdaf Soueif, Raja Alem or Paul Preston, among others.
