The Alhambra and the Rodríguez-Acosta Foundation used as sets for the filming of the documentary “Granada es posible”
The Gardens of the Generalife, the Palace of Charles V, the Torre de la Vela (Bell-Tower) and the Rodríguez-Acosta Foundation are just some of the backdrops chosen for the filming of the documentary entitled “Granada es posible” (Granada is possible), a LasdelCine production company project about the pop and rock scene in Granada.
José Antonio García from the group 091; Manuel España, from La Guardia; Manuel Ferrón, composer, singer, guitarist and founding member of Grupo de Expertos SolyNieve and Jesús Arias, the guitarist for T.N.T, are just some of the artists interviewed for this project.
In addition to the documentary, this project will be completed with a concert on 15 March in the Granada Sports Palace, in which some of the city’s best known musicians will be playing alongside others who also wanted to take part in this initiative.
The documentary “Granada es posible” seeks to highlight the importance of the rock and pop scene in Granada. Some of the city’s most successful groups and artists include Miguel Ríos, Los Ángeles, Lagartija Nick, Los Planetas, Lory Meyers, 091, etc.
