Action!… the TV series Isabel is filmed in the Alhambra

The Alhambra has once again relived its own history with the filming of the TV series broadcast by the Spanish national TV company, Televisión Española. The production team of the popular TV series produced by Diagonal TV visited Granada on the 23rd and 24th April to film new sequences for the second series. The cast of actors who were filming at the Monument include Alicia Borrachero, who plays the role of the Sultana Aixa, the mother of Boabdil (the last King of Granada); Nani Jiménez, who plays Isabel de Solís, the Christian woman held captive since her marriage to Muley Hacén; William Miller, in the role of Beltrán de la Cueva, and Roberto Enríquez and Javier Mora.
The producer also chose fifteen young people from Granada as extras to play the Nasrid and Abencerraje knights, who captured the attention of tourists visiting the Monument, who enjoyed having their pictures taken with the actors and the extras.
