Museum of the Alhambra to open afternoons

Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife (PAG) has extended opening hours at the Museum of the Alhambra. Beginning on Wednesday 16 May, the new opening hours for the Museum, located in the Palace of Carlos V, are:

– Summer (15 March – 14 October) from 8.30 am to 8.00 pm, Wednesday through Saturday; 8.30 am to 2.30 pm, Sundays and Tuesdays
– Winter (15 October – 14 March) from 8.30 am to 6.00, Wednesday through Saturday; 8.30 am to 2.30 pm, Sundays and Tuesdays.
– The museum is closed on Mondays.

The aim of the initiative, made possible by means of an agreement between the works council and the institution, is to extend the cultural and educational offer of the museum to all those interested in enjoying, understanding and evaluating our heritage.
Furthermore, the museum will stay open at night, from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m., during the Granada International Festival of Music and Dance, coinciding with the concerts at the Palace of Carlos V and Nasrid Palaces.
