Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff, currently on a private visit to Granada, took the time to visit the Alhambra this Monday afternoon. Rouseff reached the Nasrid site, with other tourists, at around 5 pm.
Rousseff, who claims to be “passionate about Hispano-Islamic art”, was guided around the palaces by Jesús Bermúdez, Alhambra advisor.
Rousseff said she was impressed by the condition of the monument and showed particular interest in the Alhambra’s poetic epigraphs.
