Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife (PAG) has been awarded the Tourist Merit plaque in recognition for its work in ensuring that tourism continues to be one of the main drivers of growth in Spain.
Declared a Unesco World Heritage site in 1984, the Alhambra is one of Spain’s most popular monuments, receiving over three million visitors each year.
María José Sánchez, government of Andalusia delegate for Granada, congratulated the members and staff of the PAG on the award and underlined that it was granted on merit alone.
