The State Police honours the Director of the Patronato de la Alhambra

The Director of the Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife (PAG), María del Mar Villafranca, has been decorated by the Spanish Police Force for her work carried out during the celebration of the bilateral EU-Morocco Summit, held on March 7, 2010 in the Monumental Complex. The award was handed out to Villafranca on October 6, during the ceremonial events held at the East Andalusia Police headquarters, on the occasion of the festivity in honour of the Holy Guardian Angels, patron saints of the State Police Force.
During the ceremony, several awards were handed out to a total of 57 persons, including 10 persons unconnected with the State Police Force, such as Nahúm Álvarez, governor of the Albolote Correctional Facility, Manuel Navajas, head of the civil defence organisation Protección Civil and of 112 emergency in Granada, Ana Tárrago, Granada’s Chief Prosecutor, José Requena Paredes, President of the Provincial Courts, and María del Mar Villafranca, PAG Director, among others.
