Vargas Llosa visits the Alhambra

The Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa and his wife, Patricia Llosa, have visited the Alhambra on the occasion of their visit to our city, where he has been conferred the title of Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of Granada.
The Director of the Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife, María del Mar Villafranca, has accompanied the author in his visit, including the Nasrid Palaces, the Baño Real (Royal Bath) and the Peinador de la Reina (Queen´s Dressing Room), handing to him the books ‘Cuaderno de la Alhambra’, with drawings by Miguel Rodríguez Acosta and prologue by Antonio Muñoz Molina, as well as ‘Imágenes de ciudad y paisaje (Hasta 1800)’ by Antonio Gamiz Gordo.
