COMUNICACIÓN Y PRENSA
Europa medieval y mundo islámico (Mediaeval Europe and the Islamic World: six studies) brings together six updated articles by the historian Miguel Ángel Ladero Quesada, first published between 2000 and 2010 in various social science journals or presented at conferences about the two great mediaeval civilizations that emerged in the Mediterranean region, namely the western European and the Islamic civilizations.
The author, a well-known specialist in 13th-15th Century history has investigated both the economy and trade in this period as well as the different social groups and the conflicts between them, focusing particularly on minority groups (Jews, Mudejars) without forgetting the conflicts on the frontiers of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada.
The studies collected in this book are just a sample of the author’s long, well documented research career.
