COMUNICACIÓN Y PRENSA
Generally the Alhambra is conceived like an architectural Complex formed by a framework of streets, buildings and quarters. But nature also is part of it in a subtle way: gardens, orchards, forest, water, ground, plants, animals, light … become evident in diverse spaces and corners of the monument.
The interior gardens placed in Nasrid palaces and houses, bring the nature close to the housings with pools, ditches or fountains, in which water flows and refreshes the atmosphere, providing pleasant sounds and beautiful images. In the gardens are aromatic bushes that perfume the air, as well as flowers of different colors and trees with delicious fruits. Surrounding the buildings arise leafy groves that give shadow and freshness.
The didactic book architectural Complex (The nature in the Alhambra) is part of a didactic proposal that intends to bring the pupils closer to a living, subtle and sometimes intangible environment, which enriches the monument and makes arise emotions and pleasant sensations during the entire tour. Here, the pupils will be invited to carry out different activities in order to improve their capacity of perception and observation, as well as the comprehension of the importance of nature in the Nasrid monument.
This architectural Complex is edited by the Patronato de la Alhambra y el Generalife.
