The Rodriguez-Acosta Foundation announces a new edition of its Landscape Grants for young artists
The Rodriguez-Acosta Foundation has announced a new edition of its Landscape Grants thanks to sponsorship from the CruzCampo Foundation. Those interested in taking part in this edition (now in its 52nd year) can find out more by clicking on this link CONVOCATORIA BECAS DE PAISAJE 2014. The Landscape Grants are aimed at students in the second and third cycles in any of the Fine Arts faculties in Spain. This year the application procedure is open. Those students interested in taking part must present the documentation in person or send it by post to calle Callejón Niños del Rollo, 8 (18009-Granada), before 31 May.
With these grants, the Rodriguez-Acosta Foundation once again accomplishes one of its main objectives, namely the dissemination and promotion of fine arts via the training of new generations of young artists. Those who are awarded grants can develop their skills in landscape painting, while living in the exceptional setting of the city and landscape of Granada.
Six young artists will enjoy the benefits of the Landscape Grants offered by the Rodriguez-Acosta Foundation in the summer months (July, August and September) in two sessions, each lasting a month and a half. Three artists will be selected for each session with financial support of 750 euros. This edition is also being supported by the University of Granada, which will kindly be providing accommodation for the grant students in the Carmen de la Victoria, a residence hall belonging to the University.
