The film Alice and Martin will be shown tomorrow in the Val del Omar Room, inside the Series of the Audio-visual Memory of the Alhambra
The film Alice and Martin, by André Techiné, will be shown tomorrow, at 6:00 pm, in the Val del Omar Room of the Library of Andalusia inside the Series of Audio-visual Memory of the Alhambra. This initiative organized by the Patronato de la Alhambra y el Generalife, is free until completing capacity.
The film, leading by the actress Juliette Binoche in 1998, has an unforgettable central sequence that takes place in the Alhambra. It is a psychological drama about a sentimental relation marked by the past.
The cinema historian Carlos Martín has been designated by the Patronato de la Alhambra y el Generalife to recover the Audio-visual Memory of the Alhambra. Is a work of “contemporary archaeology”, from the mute cinema to the current days, that completes other previous looks from painting, engraving, literature or photography. The origin of this project is the small collection known as “Fund of the Alhambra” in the Film library of Andalusia, where the materials that the production team donated to the Patronato are found.
