Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife (PAG) has revamped its mobile phone access system with a new website that allows users rapid access to the main content of the Patronato de la Alhambra y Generalife (PAG) portal. When designing the website, the criteria demanded by this user profile were taken very much into account, analysing mobile phone visit statistics and applying the latest recommendations on design and usability of mobile phone access.
The profile of mobile phone visitors to the Alhambra is that of users who want to plan their forthcoming visit to the site and are interested in getting all the relevant information (opening hours, prices, routes, directions…) and information on events and exhibitions, as quickly as possible.
On this basis, the mobile phone version of the Alhambra website has been structured into 5 basic sections: opening hours, prices, routes, Today in the Alhambra and Getting to know the Alhambra, covering the main areas of the monument and conceived as an authentic guide for visitors to the site.
In this manner, service and communications are enhanced and visitors are guaranteed instant easy access to invaluable content on the Alhambra.
