It is a private, cultural and non-profit foundation based on the international development cooperation and solidarity. Its aim is the protection, conservation, restoration, management, promotion and increase of movable, immovable and intangible cultural heritage of the society, as well as the study, research, exchange, training and promotion of methods, techniques, means, procedures, materials and protocols used in restoration, renovation, management and consolidation of the cultural heritage, as well as its use and enjoyment.
In the last decade, the CICOP has laid the foundations of the institution with the same name.
