The White Carmen Rodríguez-Acosta Foundation has opened this morning at Granada. For two days, today and tomorrow, Sunday, to coincide with the International Day of Museums, it is expected that hundreds of Grenadians participating in these open days, aimed at bringing this iconic space to the local population, and whose capacity for this event is completed.
The President of the Grenadian institution, artist Miguel Rodríguez-Acosta, and the director general of the Council of the www.fundacionrodriguezacosta.com, María del Mar Villafranca, have been responsible for welcoming the first group of citizens who visited this Carmen, National Monument in 1973, and which houses the legacies of the painter José María Rodríguez-Acosta and Gomez Moreno family since 1941.
The Carmen de la Fundación Rodríguez-Acosta is a place full of life and now we are feeling the love from Granada, has confessed to the president of the institution. Meanwhile, María del Mar Villafranca has confessed that these two days will serve as a pilot for the next opening to public visit Rodríguez-Acosta Foundation, scheduled for June.
This morning, several groups of Granada have walked through the different areas of the building, as the study of the painter Carmen and José María Rodríguez-Acosta, the Gardens, the underground galleries and the Museum of the Institute Gómez Moreno.
