Registration is now open for the online course “The Alhambra – History, Art and Heritage”

Registration is now open for an online course entitled "The Alhambra – History, Art and Heritage", organized by the University of Granada, CEIBio Tic Granada and the School of the Alhambra. This educational project, which will last for six weeks from 6th April to 18th May 2015, will offer students an in-depth knowledge of the Alhambra, through an analysis of its history, its construction process, its aesthetic values and the reasons for its conservation.
The course is divided into six modules which will provide a broad picture of palace construction in the last state of Al-Andalus. A team of professors and researchers have structured this course in such a way as to highlight all the varied cultural aspects of the Alhambra. To this end, they will be using audiovisual materials designed specifically for the course and complementary teaching resources. Direct assistance online will also be available.
