Queen Sofía of Spain is present at the spectacle of the Ballet de Ángel Corrella in the Generalife Theatre
Queen Sofía of Spain attended yesterday evening at the spectacle of the Ballet de Ángel Corella in the Generalife Theatre, on the occasion of the 58 International Festival of Music and Dance in Granada. The company Corella Ballet Castilla y León interpreted choreographies of pieces by Clark Tippet, George Balanchine, Stanton Welch y Twyla Tharp, with music of Tchaikovsky, Bach and Philip Glass, among others.
Queen Sofía was accompanied by the Mayor of Granada, José Torres Hurtado, the Regional Minister of Culture of Andalusia, Rosa Torres, the Director of the Patronato de la Alhambra y el Generalife, María del Mar Villafranca, and the Director of the International Festival of Music and Dance in Granada, Enrique Gámez.
