A 3-D panoramic view of the Alhambra using the latest technology

The Alhambra has enhanced its website VER LIVE PANORAMA with a virtual visit using the latest technology, which will enable Internet users to discover the Nasrid fortress on a 360º stage. This is LIVE PANORAMA, a technique on the frontier between video and photography, which integrates the “time” dimension into virtual visits and displays a space over the course of a day, a month or even a year. This system imitates the behaviour of the human eye, dynamically adjusting the light and the exposure depending on the particular area of the panoramic view that the user is looking at.
The Alhambra is the first group of monuments in the world to incorporate this software for interactive virtual visits, which has been developed in collaboration with the 3DVista company and with the participation of professional panographers. 
Apart from the typical contents of a virtual tour with its panoramic views, photos and videos, the Virtual Tour Suite of the Alhambra allows us to create tools that not only reflect reality but also add a spectacular touch, with two completely new types of interactive panoramas using the latest technology.
The company 3DVista S.L, founded in Oxford (United Kingdom), is based in Granada and develops software for the creation of virtual visits. The company was a pioneer in the panoramic photography industry and since then has actively promoted the development of this technology.
