La Alhambra, a look from Fernando Manso
An exhibition that reflects the poetic beauty of the Nasrid monument through the light of its architecture and the uniqueness of its gardens and fountains. The exhibition, curated by the author himself, recovers the scientific, philosophical and literary spirit of the palatial city with a careful selection of images that invite us to reflect on the aesthetic consequences of such a distinguished and elevated culture, in its context, as was the of al-Andalus.
After finishing his studies in the US, Fernando Manso began with analog photography, which became his passion. He began working in the professional photography department of Canon Spain. After spending a few years at the Contrapunto advertising agency, in 1990 he became independent, carrying out many of the great advertising campaigns in this country, from which he received important awards.
Always using an analog plate camera, and with infinite patience, the author offers us a different and magical vision of reality, giving us a poetic vision of things. Manso is a respectful observer of reality and an enhancer of his own minimalist, meticulous, romantic truth, but above all a photographer of beauty.
