The space known as the Queen’s dressing room contains a synthesis of the most important painting of the Spanish Renaissance. These works were painted by Julio Aquiles and Alejandro Mayner, disciples of Raphael. As well as the mythological images, some of which have very curious details, there are also landscapes and scenes featuring the Imperial Navy. These include a scene from the battle in which the Spanish recaptured Tunis in 1536, in which the fleet is shown sailing towards Africa.
