  • Planning the Visit

    The usual tour is 3.5 km long and it takes 3 hours to visit the 3 areas of the Monumental complex

    The complex is divided into three areas: the Fortress, the Nasrid Palaces and the Generalife, included in the different tours

    Visitors can visit the Monumental complex following an itinerary in approximately 3 hours

Despite the limitations due to the special characteristics of the spaces covered by the visit to the Monument, which includes narrow rooms and stepped and steep areas, as well as due to conservation reasons, adapted resources and tours have been arranged to facilitate access to the Nasrid Palaces, the Generalife, and other areas of the Monument to people with physical, psychic or sensorial disabilities.

The Council of the Alhambra and the Generalife is committed to adapt and improve the areas to which people with disabilities will be able to access; this commitment is shown in the present development of different accessibility plans.
